1 John 2:15-17 Christian Standard Bible (CSB)
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride in one’s possessions is not from the Father, but is from the world. And the world with its lust is passing away, but the one who does the will of God remains forever.
The clock is ticking! We are in the End Times/Last Days. Are you right with God? This is the most important question to ask yourselves. Are you right with God? Depending on your answer will determine your final destiny in eternal life.
We are all sinners but the good news is, sinners can be right with God through repenting of their sins and asking to be forgiven and believing in Jesus Christ. Believe that Jesus sacrificed his life for us on the cross, was buried and rose again on the third day, because we come to God through Jesus.
John 14:6-7 (CSB)
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you know me, you will also know my Father. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”
John 3:16 (CSB)
For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
Everything we have in this life is just temporal, but when we die the next life is eternal. Where do you want to spend eternity? Heaven or hell. That’s the choice. Don’t keep putting off this important decision, one day it will be too late! People often want to see before they believe but faith is believing before you see.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (CSB)
For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift – not from works, so that no one can boast.
In other words, doing good works and deeds is not enough to get you into Heaven! Repenting of your sins and believing in Jesus Christ is the only way to God in Heaven.
The Bible is the best-selling book of all time and quite rightly so. It is packed with great stories, good advice and sayings and by getting into God’s word on a regular basis, even daily, and getting to know other Christians we draw even closer to God and our lives become transformed for the better. We still have our ups and downs for the simple reason we are living on earth but our new transformed lives give us new meaning and purpose with the peace and joy in our hearts that wasn’t there before.
