Onward Christian Soldiers

God is the creator of all life on this earth.  From the seas, sky, sun, moon, stars, heaven, animals, fish, plants, trees, rainfall, to the first man Adam who God created from the dust of the earth, to the universe and beyond, God created it all.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

All things were created through him, and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created.

As I write this a squirrel is at the side of me, think for a moment of the squirrel, of the features of the squirrel, the bones, ligaments, organs, brain, the bushy tail, the way the squirrel hunts for food, makes his home in a tree, his tiny hands and feet, how he climbs and jumps, his alertness to predators around him.  A big bang did not make this squirrel as some people would have you believe, it was our creator God who made the squirrel and gave it the ability to reproduce itself with a squirrel of the opposite sex.  It is the same with humans, we did not come from monkeys!  Monkeys are an entirely different species from humans, we may have similarities but that is all.  Man is man, monkey is monkey. 

Nehemiah 9:6 (CSB)
You, Lord, are the only God.  You created the heavens, the highest heavens with all their stars, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them.  You give life to all of them, and all the stars of heaven worship you.

Jeremiah 10:12 (CSB)
He made the earth by his power, established the world by his wisdom, and spread out the heavens by his understanding.

All of God’s creations are precious to Him but when the devil creeps into a person’s life and causes that person to sin, that is the time to cry out to God, repent and invite Jesus to come into your heart and life.  Now, when we repent of our sins, no matter how big or small the sin, because sin is sin, and believe in Jesus Christ  and ask for forgiveness, we are forgiven and made righteous.  When we do this we are filled with God’s Holy Spirit, who comes to live within us as our helper and we are changed, now having a new heart of flesh and not a heart of stone.  We are given peace, joy, love and strength to get us through any situation that the devil throws at us.  We can laugh at the devil and tell him in no uncertain terms where to go.  When we have the Holy Spirit within us we have everything we need to equip us for life.  God supplies us with all our needs, not wants!  Did you know man cannot make anything that God has made!

Our Lord and God, you are worthy to receive glory and honor and power, because you have created all things, and by your will they exist and were created.

Put your trust in God, not in man.  Man will always let you down, God never does.
