Onward Christian Soldiers

Did you know, you could be the kindest person on planet earth, always helping others and giving to charities but if there is one very important thing you are lacking, you will be condemned to eternal damnation!  

Repenting and believing in Jesus Christ is the one thing that will get you eternal life in heaven.

Mark 16:16 (CSB)
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

John 14:6 (CSB)
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.”

This information to a non-believer in Jesus may come as a shock, you may think to yourself you are a good person, you don’t harm anyone and you always help out good causes but the Bible tells you that the only people that get eternal life are those who believe in Jesus Christ.

John 10:27-28 (CSB)
“My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me.  I give them eternal life, and they will never perish.  No one will snatch them out of my hand.”

Proverbs 27:12 (CSB)
A sensible person sees danger and takes cover; the inexperienced keep going and are punished.

Towards the end of this age there will be a Great Awakening and Christian Revival and Jesus said to his disciples the following:

Then he said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”

By this verse, which is today just as relevant as it was then, we know the gospel will be preached in those far off corners of the world whose people may never have heard of the name of Jesus.  The Great Awakening and Christian Revival is coming and Jesus’ name will be known everywhere, giving those people who are not believers and those who have never heard of Jesus, a given time to repent and believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and be saved.
