Psalm 18:2 (CSB)
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my rock where I seek refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

When all around you seems to be descending into despair and you feel like you are falling into a pit, take heart and remind yourself of the above verse of Psalm 18.  

The Lord your God is your stronghold.  When you are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, fear and events, think of this verse.  

• God is your rock – A rock is a solid object, strong, a good foundation.
• God is your fortress – A safe place that will protect you from bad outside influences.
• God is your deliverer – God will save you if you call out to Him.

God is your strong, safe place where you can seek refuge and He will shield you from whatever anxieties, fears and bad influences you want to get away from.

• God is the horn of your salvation – Protection from all evil for all believers in God, for all who place their faith in Jesus Christ.

God is your stronghold.  Stay faithful to the Lord your God and He will stay faithful to you.
