Do you remember in history lessons learning about people who never learnt or who never had the opportunity to learn how to read and write? They used to sign their name with an X. Any documentation they signed was with an X. On old pirate treasure maps at the spot the treasure was buried, it was shown as an X.
Do you know, the letter X has many usages and meanings? In genetics XX signifies a female, XY a male. When we vote we choose a candidate and put an X at the side of their name. X is the symbol for multiplication, X is used on the models of certain aircraft and cars, X is used as a symbol of a kiss but was also used on old X rated movies. X is used in the skull and crossbones emblem, XL in clothing is a large size, XS is a small size, if you have the X Factor you are said to have star quality, X is used in the game of noughts and crosses.
As you can see X has many meanings, both positive and negative, good and evil. In the negative the skull and crossbones symbolizes death by poison, the swastika has evil memories for many people, X is recognised as an occult symbol for satanism. In the positive, the first letter of the Greek word for Christos or Christ is Chi (or X). Christians in the early days of the church used X as a secret symbol to each other. Although X is used in evil as well as in good, learn this verse in scripture:
Genesis 50:20 (CSB)
You planned evil against me; God planned it for good to bring about the present result – the survival of many people.
In other words, God made good what the devil intended for evil.
There will be two marks in the Last Days. God will place His Seal (mark) on the foreheads of His faithful and righteous people and the devil will force people to take his mark, the mark of the beast, on their right hand or forehead, in order to buy and sell. A word of warning, once you take the mark of the beast there is no going back, you have just sold your soul to the devil for all eternity. By standing firm in Jesus Christ, even in the darkest of times and having God’s Seal on your forehead, even going without food etc, you are assured of eternal life with God. Make your choice!
