DON’T LET THE ENEMY PULL YOU BACK DOWN

When you become a Christian and especially when you become a serious Christian, the devil will try to trip you up and send you cascading back down to where you don’t want to return – DON’T LET HIM.  When you are getting nearer to your goal, the devil will start attacking you from whichever way he can.  I’ve come to know the pattern!  One day things are going great, the next day something will happen to make you feel not so great.  Take comfort in the knowledge that when you are under attack, you are so much closer to where God wants you to be.  Think of God’s promises to you and tell that old devil to take a running jump.

It’s easy to get disheartened, when you feel that way, pray and thank God for all He does for you, and be determined the enemy is not going to pull you down.  When something happens in life and you feel stuck and can’t see a way forward, stop what you’re thinking and think instead of God restoring what appears to be lost.  I’ve had some pretty awful things happen in my life, but God then makes things better than ever for me, but you must have 100% faith and 100% trust in God for things to completely turn around and for the peace and joy to return quickly.

John 16:33 (CSB)
“I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace.  You will have suffering in this world.  Be courageous!  I have conquered the world.”
