God loves each and every one of us, He made us, after all, but when we sin, which as humans we do, it’s the sin which God dislikes. God gives us every chance to right ourselves, He waits patiently for us to change our ways. He gives us opportunities day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, sometimes waiting a life-time. The fortunate ones of us find God and we are saved, an eternal life awaits us, a glorious life with our Lord in heaven for all eternity.
What awaits those ones who never find God, those who refuse to accept Jesus into their lives? The answer is an eternity of hell. A real place where you really don’t want to be. A place where you are tormented and punished forever, and forever is for all eternity, that’s a long time!
1 Peter 1:24-25 (CSB)
For all flesh is like grass, and all its glory like a flower of the grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls, but the word of the Lord endures forever. And this word is the gospel that was proclaimed to you.
Every leaf will eventually fall, make sure when it’s your turn, you are right with God.
