KEEP ONE STEP AHEAD OF THE GAME

Knowledge is power!

Proverbs 24:5 (CSB)
A wise warrior is better than a strong one, and a man of knowledge than one of strength.

My late father used to tell me knowledge is power and he told me governments like to keep people ‘under the thumb’ in case they get more knowledgeable and powerful than those who rule over them.  How true, of late, that advice has proved to be!  My love of learning and researching has always been evident in my life and I believe this comes from my father.  Anything to do with reading, writing and history and I’m there!  History is important because history always repeats itself.  We learn from the past.

John 8:32 (CSB)
“You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Proverbs 1:7 (CSB)
‘The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and discipline.’

Remember that when we read ‘fear of the Lord,’ it means ‘respect of the Lord.’  Respecting the Lord is following His commands at all times.

Psalm 119:66 (CSB)
Teach me good judgment and discernment, for I rely on your commands.

In these end times we need to research as much as we can about everything that we can.  Look it up yourself, don’t believe everything that you are told.

James 1:5 (CSB)
Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God – who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly – and it will be given to him.

It’s there in black and white in the Bible, ask and it will be given to you.  Ask for discernment too, the gift of deciding what is good and what is evil.  The gift of discernment, which I have been given, always lets me know what is good and what is evil.

As more and more people turn to God, this will happen.

Habakkuk 2:14 (CSB)
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord’s glory, as the water covers the sea.

For the rest of society, in the last days, who refuse to accept God, their future is very bleak.

Proverbs 1:29 (CSB)
Because they hated knowledge, didn’t choose to fear the Lord.

For those who fear/respect the Lord.

Proverbs 1:33 (CSB)
“But whoever listens to me will live securely and be undisturbed by the dread of danger.”

Get into God’s word before it’s too late!  Ask God for forgiveness of your sins, believe that Jesus Christ died for you, rose from the dead, is with God in heaven and is coming back to earth again to reign supreme.  Hallelujah.
