FREEDOM IN CHRIST

John 8:32 (CSB)
“You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

John 8:36 (CSB)
“So if the son sets you free, you really will be free.”

Freedom in Christ is found through; having faith in God, repenting of your sins, believing in and calling on the name of Jesus Christ. That through his death on the cross his blood was shed as an atonement for sin, he was buried and rose again on the third day, ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God, and he will return to earth again.  Jesus reigns supreme.

By accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you will be set free from the bondage of sin.  You will receive freedom of the mind and heart.  You will be made free to walk in right relationship with God.  Sin is something we are all guilty of and freedom in Christ sets us free from sin.  We will be filled with God’s Holy Spirit, peace and joy.

Romans 6:14 (CSB)
For sin will not rule over you, because you are not under the law but under grace.

Galatians 5:1 (CSB)
For freedom, Christ set us free.  Stand firm, then, and don’t submit again to a yoke of slavery.

2 Corinthians 3:17 (CSB)
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Freedom in Christ is freedom from the guilt and condemnation that the devil puts in your mind to weaken your faith in God.

Romans 8:1 (CSB)
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.

Psalm 34:22 (CSB)
The Lord redeems the life of his servants, and all who take refuge in him will not be punished.
