Galatians 3:26-27 (CSB)
For through faith you are Sons of God in Christ Jesus. For those of you who were baptized into Christ have been clothed with Christ.
We are called Children of God when we are saved. When we believe in Jesus and have faith in God, we become adopted into God’s family. When we are born, we are all God’s creation but it is when we are born again (saved) that we become a Child of God.
Galatians 4:6-7 (CSB)
And because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his son into our hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!” So you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then God has made you an heir.
1 John 3:1-3
See what great love the Father has given us that we should be called God’s children – and we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it didn’t know him. Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when he appears, we will be like him because we will see him as he is. And everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself just as he is pure.
