Are you leading a Christ centered life? Are you putting Jesus at the centre of your heart in everything that you do and say? A Christ centered life gets rid of any selfishness that exists in our hearts and replaces it with the love of Jesus.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (CSB)
Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy, is not boastful, is not arrogant, is not rude, is not self-seeking, is not irritable, and does not keep a record of wrongs. Love finds no joy in unrighteousness but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
You must ask yourself, “What does Jesus want me to do?” Make sure that Jesus gets the glory.
Colossians 3:17 (CSB)
And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
To have Jesus at the centre of your life is to also make sure that what you say and do is the same thing. To do otherwise is to be a hypocrite.
Galatians 2:20 (CSB)
I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
When we repent of our sins and are born again into new life in Jesus Christ, we live our life to please God.
Philippians 4:13 (CSB)
I am able to do all things through him who strengthens me.
Regardless of the situations we find ourselves in, we know that with Jesus being at the centre of our life we can have peace and joy in our life.
Romans 8:38-39 (CSB)
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
When Jesus is the centre of your life, God is for you. Nothing can separate you from God’s love for you in Christ.
Psalm 28:7 (CSB)
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart celebrates, and I give thanks to him with my song.
Jesus is all we need. When we submit to Him and fully trust Him, God will help us through all the challenges we face.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (CSB)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; in all your ways know him, and he will make your paths straight.
1 John 2:15-17 (CSB)
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride in one’s possessions – is not from the Father, but is from the world. And the world with its lust is passing away, but the one who does the will of God remains forever.
Do not love the world. Love Jesus and make Him the centre of your life.
