We wait for the Lord; he is our help and shield.
Our soul waits for the Lord. We wait in faith and we wait in joy. The Lord is our help and shield. In a time of trouble, the Lord will help us. He will shield us from harm and evil. But, we must have faith and trust in God. Those who put their hope, faith and trust in the Lord, will be helped and protected. God watches over His people and He knows their every need. Give thanks to the Lord for His faithfulness and praise His Holy Name.

Dear God,
We thank you for always being our help and shield. When times get hard, we have hope. We put our hope, faith and trust in you Lord. When life has its difficulties, we know you are forever faithful and will come to our rescue. We have no reason to be afraid or anxious. We pray for unbelievers to come to you Lord and for them to also know joy and not sadness, hope and not despair. We pray they find you before it’s too late. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
