Psalms 145:14-15 (CSB)
The Lord helps all who fall; he raises up all who are oppressed.  All eyes look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time.

This Psalm was written by King David.  It tells of God’s greatness and goodness.  David was a powerful king but he humbled himself before God.  When people have spiritually fallen, God is there to help them and restore their hope. If people are oppressed God will help them come through the hard times.  God is compassionate.  Those who look to God for salvation, will find it. If you call out to God He will hear you.  All eyes look to God, humans and animals, and God provides the daily needs of all creation.

Psalm 145 is a psalm of praise and King David was committed to praising God daily and forever.  David knew that future generations would do the same and praise God forever.

Dear God,
Thank you for being compassionate and helping us when we call out to you.  Thank you for supplying our needs at the proper time.  You are a faithful and compassionate God who is near to all who call out to you.  We will praise and bless your Holy name forever.  In Jesus’ name we pray.  Amen.
