The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and rescues them.

God’s Holy angels are sent by God to protect the people who love and respect God.  They protect us from danger that is heading towards us.  God rescues and saves those of us who trust and respect Him.  God will protect us from both physical and spiritual attacks.  God’s angels fight against the powers of darkness that try to harm us.

The Angel of the Lord makes many appearances in the Old Testament of the Bible, but once Jesus Christ was born into the world The Angel of the Lord makes no more appearances in the New Testament.  The Angel of the Lord is said to be a pre-incarnate manifestation of Jesus Christ.  Jesus Christ was there right from the beginning of time.  The Angel of the Lord makes no more appearances once Jesus Christ is born into human flesh.

Dear God,
We thank you for the protection that you give us.  Thank you for sending your angels to watch over us and protect us from physical and spiritual attacks.  Thank you for Jesus Christ always being around from the beginning of time, and always protecting us and watching over us.  Thank you God for Your Holy Spirit living within us.  In Jesus’ name we pray.  Amen.
