Isaiah 9:7 (CSB)
The dominion will be vast, and its prosperity will never end. He will reign on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness from now on and forever. The zeal of the Lord of Armies will accomplish this.
The prophet Isaiah, wrote his prophecies about 700 years before Jesus Christ was born. In this verse Isaiah is describing Jesus, when He returns to the Earth to restore Israel and to restore peace, in the Millennial Kingdom where He will rule from Jerusalem. The verse says, the dominion will be vast and its prosperity will never end. Jesus is from the line of King David and He will rule Israel and the World with justice and righteousness forever. The zeal of the Lord of Armies who accomplishes this, is God. It is God’s plan and His purpose. War will be no more and there will be permanent peace in the Millennial Kingdom, and Jesus Christ will rule fairly and justly.
Dear God,
What a wonderful future your Millennial Kingdom will be, where there will be peace, prosperity, justice and righteousness, with Jesus Christ ruling as King of the World. We thank you that the Earth, during the Millennial Kingdom, will be ruled fairly and justly. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
