Proverbs 28:5 (CSB)
The evil do not understand justice, but those who seek the LORD understand everything.
When evil becomes a way of life for a person, it is possible that person knows they are sinning but they refuse to repent, or, it is also possible that person is entirely controlled by sin, and that way of life appears normal to them. They no longer recognise that they are sinning. Either way, they are doing what is evil in God’s eyes. People who have rejected God and who commit evil do not understand justice. People who seek God gain wisdom and discernment and understand everything needed to live a righteous life.
If a person seeks God, turns from their evil ways, repents and asks for God’s forgiveness and believes in Jesus Christ, they too will be saved.
Dear God,
We pray that people will turn from their evil ways and seek you, God, and repent. We pray that they will know the truth and be saved. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
