Psalms 92:1-2 (CSB)
It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praise to your name, Most High, to declare your faithful love in the morning and your faithfulness at night.
This psalm was written as a song for the Sabbath day. The author of this psalm is unknown. It tells us it is good to give thanks to the LORD. It is always good to give thanks to God, to show Him our gratitude. We thank Him for being with us, for protecting us, for our life, for the food we eat and the water we drink, the roof over our head, our family and friends, our animals, our job, our transport, we thank Him for every blessing He gives to us. It is good to sing praise to His name. Whether you sing at church with others or at home by yourself, God hears you. It is good to declare His faithful love in the morning and His faithfulness at night. To tell God you trust in His love, thank Him for His grace and mercy and thank Him for His faithfulness, His protection, His provision for us, and remember to tell God that you love Him.
Dear God,
Thank you for everything you do for us each and every day of our life. Thank you for your faithful love and your faithfulness. Thank you for every blessing you give to us. Thank you for protecting us. We love you God and we praise your Holy Name. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
