Psalms 31:19 (CSB)
How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you.  In the presence of everyone you have acted for those who take refuge in you.

Psalm 31 was written by King David, during a time of distress and danger when he was surrounded by enemies.  In verse 19, David changes from a feeling of distress to feeling confident, and he praises God.  David praises God’s goodness which has been stored up for those who fear Him.  Fear of God means to respect God.  People who respect God also trust in God for protection.  David recognises that everyone who takes refuge in God will be protected by God.  God’s favour towards people is not always hidden, often it happens openly so even skeptics and critics can witness God’s goodness and faithfulness.  This verse tells us that if we respect and trust God and take refuge in Him, He will protect us and bestow on us His goodness.

Dear God,
Thank you that we can run to you and take refuge in you when we need your help.  You are a good and faithful God who is always there to help those who respect and trust you.  In Jesus’ name we pray.  Amen.
